Tanu Weds Manu fame Aanand L Rai, who has joined hands with SRK for a dwarf film, was searching for lead actress. It’s being reported that it is a two-heroine project and the makers were keen to sign Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone. But now the makers have to think for another alternative for the role.
On the professional front, Deepika Padukone will next be seen in historical film Padmavati. Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the film also stars Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor in titular roles. the film is all set to hit the theaters on November 17, 2017. This will be the first time, SRK will be essaying a dwarf role in his 25 years of career.
Overall, fans have to wait for few more years to see Deepika Padukone and SRK together for a movie!
