Unlike before, Kareena Kapoor wasn’t the first choice for the film, this time around. Instead, Aishwarya Rai was supposed to play the role and director Madhur Bhandarkar even went on to say, Aishwarya was a perfect choice for the role. In fact, no one could’ve played it better. Aishwarya dropped out of the film because of her pregnancy and it eventually went to Kareena Kapoor, who nailed the role.
