Celebs who won Shows but did not have been seen much on Screen

Bollywood celebs have been very much into roles when they are on screen and they have mostly have nailed their role when they have been given. They have played roles which are much better and they have most of the time seemed to be playing high roles so that they can get many appeals. Winning a reality show is the highlight of a person’s career. After winning a trophy, many get a chance in industry but that’s not guaranteed. Unfortunately, there are many actors who vanished from the screen even after winning top reality shows. Bigg Boss” is one of the most viewed and popular TV reality show in India. “Aashiqui” fame actor Rahul Roy, won the first season of the TV reality game show ‘Bigg Boss‘ and after which he was not seen in the limelight. However, he was just seen in a small role in some films. Dance India Dance” season 3 winner Rajasmita Kar has impressed everyone with her dancing skills and physical strength. After winning the show in 2011 she is away from the limelight. Ashutosh Kaushik was the winner of “MTV Hero Honda Roadies 5″ in 2007. In 2008, Ashutosh emerged as the winner of “Bigg Boss season 2″. Following that, he was seen on the television for a while where he acted in shows like “Savdhan India”, “Comedy Circus”. Sadly, he didn’t get a big chance on TV or in movies. Elesh Parujanwala is a Canada-born Indian who was one of the 16 contestants on the show “Rakhi Ka Swayamvar”. Hats off to this guy as he was willing to marry drama queen Rakhi Sawant. He won the show but after their breakup, he just disappeared from the screen and his journey to stardom ended with their relationship. Vipul Mehta, originating from Amritsar, Punjab, won the title of “Indian Idol” in season 6 of the show. He was also a finalist in another singing reality show “Amul Voice of India” in 2008 is still struggling to get a platform to get entry into Bollywood as a playback singer. Ankan Sen has become the best dancer after winning Hrithik Roshan’s dance reality show “Just Dance” on Star Plus. The 17-year-old winner of the show once seen with Hrithik in a song and now vanished from the screen. A cKolkatan of Chinese origins, Anthony Yeh won the ‘Roadies Season 4‘ because of his popularity. However, after winning the show Anthony too is untraceable, just like other winners of this reality show. Sarwar Ahuja was the male winner of the first season of the talent show “India’s Best Cinestars Ki Khoj” in 2004. He went on to do shows like “Hum Ne Li Hi Shapth”, “Punar Vivah” ,”Jyoti” etc. Apart from TV shows he also saw in films like “Khanna & Iyer”, “Meri Padosan”, ” Patiala Dreamz” for minor roles. Qazi Touqueer was the winner of a singing reality show called “Fame Gurukul”. He shared his prize with another contestant named Ruprekha Banerjee. Both of them released their first album in 2005. However, after that, he just disappears from the limelight. Siddharth Bhardwaj was the winner of MTV Splitsvilla 2 along with Sakshi Pradhan. He has also participated in the most controversial reality show “Bigg Boss 5″ and was the second runner-up. We have seen him anchoring shows on and off, but he’s mostly absent from Indian television.
