Bollywood Stars who regretted after rejecting these films !

A number of Bollywood actors have faced a sitution in their careers where they regretted their decision of not taking up a role offered to them first. Many of the times, the film went on to become a huge hit leaving them lamenting about their not so clever choice. Remember how Aamir Khan rejected the film Darr as he did not want to appear in negative character. Later, the role went to Shah Rukh Khan and Movie was blockbuster on box office. Now go through the list of actors who refused movies are as follows: Shah Rukh Khan - Hritik RoshanRang De Basanti: The offer of this classic film first gone to Shahrukh Khan, who wasn’t interested in doing the film. Hrithik Roshan had turned down was Aamir Khan-starrer Rang De Basanti. Hrithik wanted to come in the character of DJ. But Aamir Khan had already been selected for the project and thus Hrithik backed out. 2. Shah Rukh Khan Munna Bhai MBBS: It’s very difficult for anyone to even think of anyone else playing the iconic role of Munnabhi apart from Sanju Baba. But both Rajkumar Hirani and Vidhu Vinod Chopra wanted Shahrukh Khan to work in the film. Infact, Sanjay Dutt was going to play the role of Zaheer, which later on went to Jimmy Shergill. 3. Amitabh Bachchan Mr. India: ‘Mr. India’ having Anil Kapoor and Srivedi in lead roles was originally written for Amitabh Bachchan. The film was also written with a pre-thought of Amitabh Bachchan’s voice but Amitabh refused to work in the film and to do the ‘invisible’ role. Afterwards, the offer was accepted by Anil Kapoor and ‘Mr. India’ became a landmark movie in Anil’s Bollywood career. 4. Shahid Kapoor Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola: Director Vishal Bhardwaj's first choice was Shahid Kapoor for the film, but later Imran Khan was finalised with Anushka Sharma for the film. 5. Shah Rukh Khan Lagan: Initially the offer of Lagaan went to Aamir Khan, who initially didn’t want to work in the film. Then it was offered to Shah Rukh Khan, who wasn’t too keen either. Ashutosh then convinced Aamir and became one of the evergreen films.
