After the Uri Attacks, MNS Demanded a pan of Pakistani actors working in India. Soon, Varun expressed his opinions on it, which didn’t go down well with the people. He had to delete his tweets and says, he tweet has been misinterpreted.
First Tweet: “I totally stand with the government of India. If banning actors can stop terrorism, then they should do it. But that is something government needs to decide first.”
Second Tweet: “Guys, my statement has been misinterpreted. I feel arts and sports are always made scapegoats.”
