Birthday Special: Shah Rukh Khan And His Struggle Towards Success

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is one of the most popular Indian stars in the world. In the past 27 Years, Shah Rukh has achieved everything that he had dreamt of in the struggling phase. Just like everyone, Shah Rukh Khan landed in the dream city to fulfil his dreams. Dreams did turn into reality for him, but it took him nearly 5 years to get his first big role. Everyone knows about his first Bollywood break with 'Deewana' as a second male lead but very few know about his first TV serial that he starred in 1988 'Dil Dariya'. Soon, he starred in 'Fauji' and popular show 'Circus'. After doing few stints in the serials and Telefilms, his big success 'Darr' made him a popular name in Bollywood. Well, we know his success saga but we hardly know his hardships in life. Here, we have ensemble a list of his struggling stories in life: 1. The early days of SRK were full of struggle as he lost his mother and dad in the early phase of life. To survive on his own, he did low-profile jobs at the beginning of his professional life. 2. Before coming to Mumbai, Shah Rukh Khan works in a Restaurant in Delhi for the living. He even worked as an Usher in Pankaj Udhas concert to earn a sum of Rs. 50. 3. Shah Rukh Khan used to sleep outside a 5-star hotel in Mumbai. He once says himself at Marine Drive that 'One Day I Will Rule The City'. 4. Some of the films that SRK worked, in the beginning, was actually rejected by other big stars. As no big hero wants to play a negative lead and that's why they rejected the role. To avoid employment, SRK took all these roles and that's how his career took the high. 5. During his struggling days, SRK always believes in him. His father is the biggest inspiration for him that motivates him always. In one of the interviews, SRK revealed about his Dad, who once said, "Beta, Kuch kaam karna. Aur naa mann ho to mat karna, kyunki jo kuch nahi karte woh kamaal karte hai!" 6. SRK was fond of movies and loves to watch Bollywood films. His mother promises him to show a movie if he passed with good marks in Hindi exams. SRK often comes first in it. 7. SRK's father died with a Cancer and soon his mother died too. To get away from the depression of such a big loss, SRK landed in Mumbai and soon started working in Serials and movies. 8. Controversies are always being a big part in SRK's life and he was even being targeted about buying a Filmfare award. He did open about it in interviews and soon the Filmfare controversy faded away. 9. SRK married to Gauri Khan in 1991 and still they are the most loved couple in the Bollywood. At a time when the marriage turns into a divorce in no time, they have been together for over 25 years. At first, Gauri didn't want Shah Rukh to be a permanent part of the film industry as she thought it would distance them. Well, SRK is the king of romance and he knows how to handle a beautiful wife Gauri! 10.His struggle with life in the early phase of life has taught him a lot. That's why he knows the value of patience and perseverance. To get a fame is not an easy job but it's SRK who has the fire in his heart that's what helped him to be King Khan of Bollywood. 11.
