After Bhoomi, Sanjay Dutt Will Next Be Seen In Romantic Thriller Malang

Sanjay Dutt, who recently wrapped up Bhoomi, will now star in the upcoming movie Malang. This is his second project after a hiatus of three years when he was jailed in relation to arms case. Since last one year, Sanjay Dutt was being offered many big roles in the movies but he refuted most of them. The reason behind that is, he is very picky when it comes to choosing the right project. Apart from that, he also wants to spend most of his time with the family and that's why he is denying offers. The film will be directed by a debutant Aarambhh Singh who has worked as an assistant with Omung Kumar. Yes, Omung is the one who has recently completed his movie with Sanjay Dutt. It is believed that Omung Kumar will also be co-producing the next film Malang along with Bhushan Kumar from T-Series. Elated Sanjay Dutt said in a statement, "I have always believed in the passion of newcomers and fresh talent. I observed Aarambhh since he was the assisting Omung during Bhoomi. When he narrated Malang to me, I looked at Sandeep and said I am hooked. The layering of my character and the plot, the setting of Varanasi has me most excited about this project." Talking about the movie, debut director Aarambhh said, "It’s a huge opportunity to direct Sanjay Sir and have him be the hero of my film. I am very grateful to him for letting me direct a great star like him. It’s a dream true. I am also very thankful to Sandeep sir and Omung sir for showing immense faith in me and giving me this chance to showcase my talent." Interestingly, Ranbir Kapoor is all set to essay Sanjay Dutt's role in the upcoming Dutt Biopic, which is based on Sanjay Dutt's life. Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, the film is all set to hit the theaters by the end of 2017. Overall, we are all excited to see Sanjay Dutt after 3 years in his upcoming flick Bhoomi.
