Did Sara Ali Khan Choose Ekta Kapoor And Not Karan Johar Because Of Her Mom Amrita Singh?
Sridevi’s daughter Jhanvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan’s daughter Sara Ali Khan are much in news these days because of their debut movies. Earlier there were rumours that Karan Johar was to launch her in the sequel of Student of the Year 2 opposite Tiger Shroff. A few days ago there was another news that Sara will be making her debut with Salman Khan’s banner. But finally, Sara is getting launched by Ekta Kapoor in the movie Kedarnath which will be directed by Abhishek Kapoor. The movie also has Sushant Singh Rajput opposite Sara.
The reason behind Sara opting for Ekta Kapoor’s movie is because of her mom Amrita Singh. Amrita is very close to Ekta and she has appeared in Ekta Kapoor’s popular show Kkavyanjali and also in her production A Flying Jatt.
Kareena and Saif too wanted Sara to make her debut with Karan Johar but Amrita already gave dates to Ekta. While Amrita is happy about her daughter’s debut with Ekta, on the other hand, Saif seems to be not happy with Sara’s decision. In an interview, he said, “Why would she want that for herself? Look at where she studied. After having done that, why wouldn’t she want to live and work in New York, rather than do this? I am not looking down on acting, it’s just it is not the most stable profession. And everyone lives in constant fear. And there is no guarantee that despite doing your best, you will succeed. This is not the life, any parent would want for their children.”
Jhanvi Kapoor is making her debut with Karan Johar’s Student Of The Year 2. When Sridevi was asked about Jhanvi’s debut, she said, “Wait for the announcement, it’ll come soon enough and aapko khud pata chal jayega.”
