Vidya Balan’s Begum Jaan has released this Friday and did a stable business at the first weekend. The film has over 20 talented actors who have performed brilliantly in the movie. At the latest, the weekend collection proves that the film is going stable at the Box Office.

The budget of the movie is not that big and in that way, the collections are doing decently on the silver screen. This is one of the difficult roles of Vidya Balan which has been praised by Film Critics.
On the very first day, Begum Jaan has collected 3.94 crores at the Box Office. On the very second day, the film has able to earn 3.50 crores. Well, the movie has seen a decent jump on the third day and rake up a sum of Rs. 3.85 crores. Overall, the total collection of the movie after the weekend is 11.29 crores. As the movie has not big competition in Bollywood, it is expected that the movie would rake nearly 18- 20 crores by the end of the first week.
While working about his experience in the film, Vidya shared,
“Slapping, kicking. Initially, Srijit (director) would say if you don’t give it your all, we’ll have to keep shooting. After this, just the first couple of takes. Actually not the first couple of takes, the first couple of rehearsals. I thought I will see how much force I can apply, I was worried about ruining someone’s face (laughs). I play the madam of a brothel who is very very aggressive and powerful. I don’t think I have played such a powerful character so far. She is unabashedly powerful. There will be also a lot of physical power to her.”
