Before you watch ‘Dil Bechara’ know here who is Sanjana Sanghi!

Featured opposite Sushant Singh Rajput in ‘Dil Bechara’, the 23-year-old actress, Sanjana Sanghi, has become the talk of the town. The news was abuzz that this movie is Sanjana’s debut but if you know her you know that you have seen her sharing screen with many ace actors and that this movie isn’t her debut.

The young star was born on September 2, 1996 and at the age of 13 was found by Mukesh Chabbra, who found her during her school performence in Delhi, and asked her to audition for the role of Nargis Fakhri’s younger sister in Imtiaz Ali’s ‘Rockstar’ in 2011. She was also seen playing Pakistani actress, Saba Qamar’s teenage role in blockbuster hit ‘Hindi Medium’.

Sanjana was a University topper from Lady Shri Ram College where she studied Mass Communication and Journalism. She was also awarded LK Advani for her excellent performance in academics. Sanjana completed her graduation in 2017.

She is also a formally trained Kathak dancer but later due to an injury she had to stop it. The incident took place when Sanjana was in 11th grade, the fell while rehearsing and her left knee popped out of its socket. That is how dance ended for her and she did not dance in her entire college life.

This nerdy academic geek has also delivered inspirational session at Tedx Talks in Ahmedabad.

The talented actress has also worked as a sub-editor in a media house and did his internship with BBC.

The actress has also appeared in nearly 150 Television commercials like Vodafone offers, Tanishq, among many.

‘Dil Bechara’ is the Hindi adaptation of Hollywood movie ‘The Fault in Our Stars’, which was based on a novel of the same name by John Green. The story of the film chronicles heartbreaking stories of two teenagers who fall in love in a Cancer support group. The Hollywood version of the movie was a big hit and had stared Shailene Woodley, as Hazel Grace and Ansel Elgort, as Augustus Waters.

Her movie ‘Dil Bechara’ opposite late actor Sushant Singh Rajput is all set for its online release on the streaming platform Disney+ Hotstar in India and on Hotstar in USA, UK and Canada from 7:30 pm onwards. Paying tribute to the late actor, the streaming giants have already announced that the movie will be available for free viewing for both subscribers and non-subscribers.
