An Indian village has a weird custom of every man marrying two women !

There have been many unusual yet weird and off beat things happening in this world for a very long period of time now but nobody has actually been able to find a logical reason behind them.

In this article, we are all set and ready to tell you about a small village in India where every man has two wives. Are you shocked after listening to this? Even we are shocked out of our minds right now. The name of this village is Derasar which is in the Barmer district of Rajasthan. The entire population of this small, remote and quaint village in Rajasthan is less than 600 people.

Here men get married twice not because they like to get married two times. But on the contrary part, they are literally forced for a second marriage due to a very strange totally bizarre and an unusual phenomenon.

In fact, there are nearly around 70 Muslim families in this remotely quaint village of Barmer District in Rajasthan. Honestly speaking, two marriages in a Muslim family are not common and normal.

However in this village, men get married for the second time because they can’t have a child with the first wife that’s needed to continue their ancestral family legacy and hierarchy where the family gets its future successor in the form of a male heir.

It has been noticed and observed usually that many families didn’t have a kid until the man got married for the second time as well. Now it is the second wife only who gets the opportunity and joy of becoming a mother.

Many men waited for quite a long period of time to have kids from the first wife. But actually they had a child and their child problems got solved only after their second marriage. There is no scientific, legal and factual explanation for this phenomena but it has been happening for a long time now in this remote village called Barmer in Rajasthan.

It may sound strange and very unreal to everyone but it’s true that first wives of this village do not get jealous and insecure of the second wives and treat their kids as their own children.
