Prabhas and Rana Daggubati starring Bahubali 2 have struck the right chord with the audience. People have eagerly awaited for almost 2 years for Bahubali 2. The reason behind that was a cliff hanger question “Why Kattappa Killed Bahubali?” At latest, the early estimates of the first-day collection are out now and with that, it has broken the first-day record of Sultan and Dangal.
Leading film critic Taran Adarsh gave a clear indication that Bahubali 2 first day collection will be bigger than Dangal and Sultan. In the latest tweet, he said, “Truly SENSATIONAL! As per *early tracking and estimates* #Baahubali2 opens BIGGER than #Sultan [₹ 36.54 cr] and #Dangal [₹ 29.78 cr]. HINDI.”

With this, it is clear that this non-holiday release has broken the movies which have been released on the festival season last year. Salman Khan starrer Sultan released on Eid 2016 and went on to cross 300 crores in a lifetime. Even, Aamir Khan starrer Dangal has collected over 387 crores and became the highest earning Bollywood movie. It is believed that Bahubali 2 will easily break their lifetime collection records in just one week.
The film is released on 9000 screens across the world. In India, Bahubali 2 was released in 6500 screens. With the first-day collection buzz, it is clear that the film has raked up over 100 crores. It is even being predicted that the film will cross 1000 crores in its lifetime run. If the movie will able to do this, it will become the first film to cross this mark.
