Akshay Kumar who is ruling the box office at present was a king of flop movies. Yes, we know it’s hard to believe since Akshay right now is the king of Bollywood. It is believed that the movie in which Akshay acts becomes a blockbuster hit. But that was not the case always. There was a time when Akshay delivered back to back flops. And yes we are not talking about the time in 90s when Akshay literally prayed that there should be at least one hit in a year. But we will be here listing down some of the movies which released in 2000s and were a huge flop. Have a look at those movies – Boss – The movie directed by Anthony D’Souza were Akshay was the lead actor was a huge flop at the box office. Once Upon a Time in Mumbai Again – Sequel of the super hit movie Once Upon a Time in Mumbai was a huge flop. Not only Akshay’s overacting was criticized but also other actors – Sonakshi & Emraan Hashmi were equally criticized. Brothers – the movie directed by Karan Malhotra released in 2015 was a huge flop at the box office. Also, the movie did not do much for Akshay Kumar but it was a huge blow to Sidharth Malhotra’s career. Joker – Sonakshi Sinha and Akshay Kumar starring movie did not do any wonders neither on box office nor at the critics mind. Thank You – It is a 2011 romantic comedy movie which failed to entertain audience. Infact, audience had a good laugh at the movie. Action Replay – Akshay Kumar starred in the movie with Aishwariya Rai with a movie in 70s setup. But the movie was a failed approach in many respects be it direction, cinematography or anything else. Patiala House – A family drama film which failed to impress the audience with it’s over acting. Blue – A 2009 movie based on the trip of friends was a huge flop at the box office. 8 * 10 Tasveer – Movie based on absurd capabilities couldn’t impress box office neither critics. Chandni Chowk to China – A 2009 movie where Akshay Kumar is seen as a chef didn’t cook much with the audience. Jaanemann – Movie starring Preity Zienta and Salman Khan with Akshay Kumar was a huge flop at the box office window even after having a hit music. Humko Deewana Kar Gaya – Movie starring Katrina Kaif with Akshay Kumar proved to be just another romantic movie which did not leave any lasting impression on the audience. Mere Jeevan Saathi – a love triangle in which Akshay Kumar with two leading ladies – Ameesh Patel and Karishma Kapoor failed to do any wonders at the box office. Family – Akshay Kumar teamed up with Amitabh Bachchan in the movie, even then the terrific duo couldn’t do much for the fate of the movie. Dosti – In 90s there were number of movies where two female and male leads were seen. But this was one of the biggest flop movies of that time. Deewane Huye Paagal – Akshay Kumar with Reena Sen had their career’s biggest disaster with this movie. Insan – we are sure you will be totally unaware about this movie. The movie just came and went without much of a bang. Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Sathiyo – This Patriotic movie failed to impress audience and leave any lasting mark on the box office. Hatya – The movie set in 90s was a huge loss for the producers of the movie. Meri Biwi Ka Jawab Nahin – Here Akshay Kumar was seen with Sridevi and together they couldn’t do much for the movie. Aan – Akshay teamed up with Suniel Shetty, Paresh Rawal and Shatrughan Sinha but even then the movie was a huge failure at the box office. Police Force – Akshay with his long time beau Raveena Tandon had a romantic saga in the movie. But together they received thumbs down from the movie. Tasveer – the movie was rejected by audience like anything. Even the movie was not released at many theatres second day after the release. Jaani Dushman – Sonu Nigam was a part of this movie. And the movie just added to the list of flops in Akshay’s kitty but Sonu just gave up his acting dream with this movie. Haan Maine Bhi Pyar Kiya – Even star power like Karishma Kapoor, Abhishek Bachchan with Akshay Kumar couldn’t save this movie. Khiladi 420 – Mr. & Mrs. Khiladi was a huge hit but Khiladi 420 was a big flop in both Mahima Chaudhary and Akshay Kumar’s career. Salman Khan and Sunny Leone make headlines together!
