After Kapil Sharma’s controversy with Brihanmumbai Mahanagar Corporation (BMC) Seems like new celebrity has run into the similar controversy. Unfortunately it was not the BMC who pointed out the illegal construction. But it was the popular actress neighbour who have decided to take a step against the illegal construction. Anushka Sharma owns the complete 20th floor in Badrinath Tower (Versova, Mumbai) and she has been living there since a long time now. However recently Mumbai Mirror reported that she has been accused of illegally installing an electric junction box on her floor, And this complaint was filed by her neighbour. Reportedly Sunil Batra recently filed a complaint at the BMC and also he has several other complaint against Anushka’s for not following society rules. Speaking to the actress spokesperon declined all of the charges as baseless and also stated that the electric junction box was installed after approval from society.However, Sunil Batra has different story to tell. “The civic officials inspected the premises and found the electric junction box highly objectionable. They have asked the Sharmas to remove it.” He proved his point, by producing a copy of the letter written by the K Ward assistant engineer, which read as, “To the owners/occupiers of flat Nos 2001 and 2002, the installation of electric junction box in the common passage area of society is highly objectionable. You are directed to remove the box otherwise necessary action will be initiated as per the MMC Act.”

But as we told you, Anushka‘s spokesperson denied these allegations and said that there was “nothing illegal“ about any construction or installation. As the spokesperson revealed, “The actress owns three flats on the 20th floor and all permissions since 2013 are in place. Anushka and her family are law-abiding and responsible citizens and wouldn’t do anything to inconvenience or harm anyone.”

Also an anonymous person from the same society has come in open support of the actress and he has some shocking revealation about Batra’s personal grudges against the society and sharma’s. The person in question was ousted as secretary of the building following a consensus among the residents, including Anushka‘s father – Ajay Kumar Sharma. And hence, Batra has been targeting the family. As the residents added, “This particular individual claiming that the construction is illegal, himself has multiple illegal parking spaces, apart from other illegal constructions in and around his house. He wants to take his personal vendetta into public domain by throwing around a celebrity’s name, such as Anushka’s, as she is a public figure.”
