Popular singer and composer Ankit Tiwari is all set to start the second innings in his life. Galliyan singer will get married on February 23 this month to a girl named Pallavi Shukla. Pallavi is a mechanical engineer living in Bangalore for past 10 years. Talking about her, Ankit said, “I’ve introduced her and her family to my work and life in Mumbai where she will live after marriage,”
According to the report of leading entertainment daily Mumbai Mirror, Ankit Tiwari’s granny met Pallavi on a train from Kanpur to Delhi last year. Then only, she realized that Pallavi Shukla is the perfect match for her grandson. Their families fixed the marriage date in just 3 months.
The report suggests that Ankit and Pallavi will get engaged on February 20. The couple will get married in traditional North Indian wedding on 23rd February in Kanpur. They will host a reception on February 26. They will also host a reception in Mumbai once Ankit finishes his tours by the month-end.
Ankit’s older brother Ankur was quoted saying to Mumbai Mirror, “Usually weddings in our family last 10-12 days, but Ankit doesn’t have the time. His shows are booked months in advance and we worked around his dates,”
