I Must Use My Voice For The Right Purpose, Says Alia Bhatt
Alia Bhatt always amazes us with her acting and cuteness. She is one of the most popular actresses in Bollywood today and, has millions of fan all across the globe. Alia is currently making headlines for her relationship with her Brahmastra co-star Ranbir Kapoor. She is also using her status to better the world around her.
Actor Soni Razdan’s much anticipated film No Fathers in Kashmir finally released on Friday. Alia Bhatt was the first ones to cheer for the actor and the film’s team.
Alia says that she would have supported the film even otherwise. “I believe that if I have a voice, I must have been given that voice for a reason. And I better use it for the right purpose. No Fathers in Kashmir has something that needs to be said and heard. If I can carry its message forward, I will do that,” she says.
Alia took to the Twitter and added, “A beautiful love story, both brave and moving. #NoFathersInKashmir is a story so relevant for our times. A must watch. Mama how amazing are you @Soni_Razdan, you make me soooo proud @ashvinkumar lots of love to you and the entire team!!”
Speaking of her own fan base, she adds, “Even before Raazi, I’d look at the number of followers I had on Instagram and think how much I could influence people who follow me.”
When asked if she would play a role in the film ‘No Fathers in Kashmir’, and Alia disagree, “Zara Webb is so good. I’d never take her place.”
No Fathers in Kashmir has been directed by Oscar nominated and two-time National film Award winner Ashvin who also plays a pivotal role in the film along with Soni Razdan.
The story of the film reveals about two teenagers who are on a dangerous journey to find their missing fathers. They reach a treacherous area near the Indo-Pak border and are arrested. Noor is released as she is a British citizen and decides to help Majid get his freedom.
