Alia Bhatt-Ranbir Kapoor’s wedding dates postponed amid COVID-19 outbreak, work commitments?
The most lovable and popular celebrity couple of Bollywood, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are rumored to take their relationship a step ahead and are reported to tie a sacred knot soon. But if the rumors are anything to go by, the couple has decided to push their wedding dates a little later.
As it has been a long time the two are dating each other and now have publicly announced their relationship status on various platforms, the speculations about their wedding date often make rounds on the social media. From the dreamy wedding location to the date of them taking vows, all is has been reported in the past but if the latest reports are to be believed, it seems like the ‘biggest event of the year’ won’t be happening this year.
Even though many media reports claimed that the couple was likely to tie the nuptial knot in December, 2019 and for the same Alia had approached Sabyasachi to get her wedding lehenga designed, which has also been put on hold as their wedding date has reportedly been pushed to 2021.
According to a source, Ranbir and Alia have decided to skip this year and instead get married in 2021 not just because of Coronavirus pandemic but also given to their work commitments, as the duo has some professional assignments which are expected to keep them busy in the next few months, thus, postponing the wedding to next year.
On work front, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor will be sharing the screen for the very first time for a movie in their much anticipated film ‘Brahmastra’. The movie was scheduled to release in December 2020, the Covid-19 outbreak.
