Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, the gorgeous actress, seemed all gung-ho in promoting and speaking about her upcoming film ‘Sarbjit’ but remained silent when asked about recent explosive revelations in Panama Papers leak. The list of Panama papers came forward unexpectedly and created a big controversy for Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her Father-in-law, Sir Bachchan.
It may be recalled that the names of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Amitabh Bachchan had appeared in the secret list which features 500 prominent Indians. Both have been avoiding the media due to the controversy. During the recent promotions of ‘Sarbjit’, Aishwarya not only chose to avoid the controversial questions but even went to the extent of saying that why the asking of media was so desperate and pressurizing her for an answer on the topic of Panama papers leak. So to get rid of this situation, Mrs. Bachchan finally broken her silence and issued a statement clarifying her stance in the controversy.
She said in her statement that, “Statement has been given and that stands true individually as well as by the members of the family already been given to the media and rest all the queries that need to be answered to the Government of India is been done.”
Well, after making such a statement, the lead actress of ‘Sarbjit’ surely deserves an ideal bahu award for not just speaking about herself but also for her father in law Amitabh Bachchan whose name was alleged among other names of 500 Indians.
Likewise, Amitabh Bachchan, whose name was dragged in the same controversy, said that his name may have been “misused” in the Panama reports. Also according to the reports, Big B who was going to be the brand ambassador of mega tourism campaign “Incredible India” was not declared for the post because of the Panama Papers leak.
