It was expected that Aishwarya will surely give tough competition to Priya Prakash’s record. The expectations were high because Aishwarya is not just a Bollywood actress but an international beauty icon too. She is making 17th appearance at prestigious Cannes film festival.
Earlier her PR team shared a screenshot Aishwarya’s official account on their Instagram page with the caption “Official Instagram handle of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan announced – https://www.instagram.com/aishwaryaraibachchan_arb/”

Her PR team was very excited to welcome diva on Instagram but in no time their excitement turned into nightmare when Aishwarya blasted them after not getting a expected response.
A source close to the actress told Pinkvilla stating that-
“Aishwarya is upset with the way her social media debut happened. This is not what she expected. In 6 hours her profile has not even crossed 20,000 followers, which is very unlikely, given her popularity. She is also upset that there is no blue tick on her profile, making people wonder about the authenticity of the profile,”
Well Aishwarya’s reaction is totally justified. She was never interested in in joining social media, but she decided to join after her PR team and some friends convinced her to do so. Even after six hours of going live on May 11, actress failed to cross 18K followers. Currently she have 69k followers which is very less than considering her worldwide popularity.
Even her husband Abhishek Bachchan and father-in-law Big B who are very much active on social media didn’t gave any shoutout to her. This has made fans more doubtful about the authenticity of her account.
