The Kapoor family was totally devastated by Sridevi’s sudden death due to accidental drowning in the bathtub of her hotel room in Dubai. After a lengthy procedure in Dubai, the mortal remains were brought back to Mumbai and then on 28th February, she was cremated in the Vile Parle crematorium.
From Amitabh Bachchan to Shah Rukh Khan to John Abraham, many Bollywood celebrities attended the funeral of the legendary actress. But Aamir Khan couldn’t attend the funeral as at that time he was in abroad. Recently he called Boney Kapoor and was very sympathetic towards him and Boney told Aamir the whole story as to what happened on 24th February.
During the phone conversation, Aamir told Boney that same incident happened with his friend’s wife. Aamir said that half of his friend’s wife face was drowned in the bathtub but his friend pulled out his wife on time. She was in an unconscious state and after becoming normal when she was asked as to what happened she couldn’t recall. Later on, they came to know that it was due to low blood pressure.
She already had low blood pressure and she went to take shower with hot water. This got even worse and she fainted. Listening to this incident, Boney Kapoor repeated the entire incident that happened in Dubai and then he started sobbing over the phone.
