Actor Disha Vakani, well known as Dayaben of comedy show ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’, which has been entertaining the masses for over a decade now. The character of the show be it Jethalal or Dayaben are quite popular among the fan.
The show’s fan have been eagerly waiting for the return of Disha Vakani who plays Dayaben on THKOC. The report says the makers of Taarak Mehta Ka Oooltah Chashmah have given her an ultimatum of 30 days, whether she wants to return or not.
Producer Asit Modi’s decision and said, “Bas, ab ho gaya. Modi waited ethically how much he and his cast crew could. A report in an entertainment portal has suggested that Asit Modi will give Disha a concession period of one month. If she doesn’t return, she will get replaced by another actress.
There was no contact between the two parties ever since Dayaben’s last day at shoot. Team Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has no problem if she wants to look after her baby but now the team has lost patience.
The source further added, “Seems, Disha wanted to hanker for a bit of publicity in the media. So, she put a some throwback video. Toh dekhte hain kya hota hai. We will still welcome her warmly if she returns without unacceptable do’s and don’t. Or else we are going ahead with another actress after 30 days.
This year ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ producer Asit Modi revealed that Disha’s contract hasn’t been terminated. The character of Daya Bhabhi is still there and we have not taken any actor to replace her. As and when she wants to come, we will see at that time. If mutually benefical to both, we shall work together again,” said Asit Modi in a statement.
