Parmanu Teaser: The John Abraham-Diana Penty starrer film is an edge-of-the-seat thriller

John Abraham’s next Parmanu is the Story of Pokhran, about the Indian army, officials and researchers  who despite being ordinary people, have to show truly extraordinary courage in adverse situations. It promotes the slogan- ‘Jai Jawan Jai Vigyan’. The story-line of the movie is based on real events but the characters in the movie are all fictitious.

Directed by Abhishek Sharma, the film stars John Abraham, Diana Penty and Boman Irani, this movie is all set to release on 25th May, 2018.

The teaser of the movie was launched by the makers and it seems as if the movie is going to make you feel like a Proud Indian, raising that spirit of nationalism in every scene of it! It is based on the most significant event in the history of India, Nuclear tests at Pokhran in the year 1998.

The producer commented on the movie saying,“Parmanu is a human story of the kind of intensity not seen often. What makes this edge-of-the-seat thriller special is the fact that we are recreating a moment in Indian history that we are so proud of- our Nuclear tests at Pokhran done against all odds. It salutes the efforts of the Indian Army and scientists who worked so closely to ensure that India finds its due place in the world nuclear map. What we hope that the audience take home is not just the experience of a pacey and edgy plot-line but also a sense of pride for our country and its twin pillars of strength- Jai Jawan Jai Vigyan!”
