Shahid Kapoor Walks Out Of Promoting Padmavati On Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss 11

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati is scheduled to release on 1st December and we all are waiting to see Shahid Kapoor, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh all promoting Padmavati together. What can be more better place then Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss platform to promote a film. Earlier we heard that Filmmaker’s team decided that Deepika and Shahid Kapoor will go on Bigg Boss for promotion but something went wrong and now Shahid won’t be going to Bigg Boss to promote Padmavati. Shahid is miffed with filmmakers as they are highlighting Ranveer Singh who is playing a grey shaded character in the film.

As per new reports in Pinkvilla, says a source, “Deepika is going on BB11 alone to promote Padmavati and so will Ranveer go on his own, separately but Shahid is not going on Salman’s show at all. The actress will first make an appearance on the show during the first week of December ((Padmavati releases on December 1) and she will be followed by Ranveer after that. It was a unilateral call taken by Bhansali and his team, in the light of various controversies erupting over the release of the film. They decided it was best that Deepika and Ranveer not to come together on a common platform and promote the film at all – on any television show. Deepika, Ranveer and the creative and marketing teams of Padmavati have decided that the two stars won’t promote the film together on any television show on any platform. As far as Shahid is concerned, apparently he is upset with the way the makers are publicizing the film and highlighting Ranveer more than him, so he will come on other shows in solo appearances. Of course, all the lead actors have to show their unity with Bhansali hence all will maintain that in public and pretend everything is just fine. In private however, it is a different story.”
