Talking about the movie it is the biopic of Duleep Singh. The movie is paying tribute to the King and his leadership.
If you don’t know about Maharaja Duleep Singh then let us give you a sneak peek into his life. In the early 19th century, the Kingdom of Punjab expanded across the plains and plateaus of North India under the leadership of Duleep’s father, Maharaja Ranjit Singh, who was known as “The Lion of Punjab.” After the death of Ranjit Singh Duleep Singh was crowned as the King of Punjab at the age of five. His rule didn’t last long and was taken to England by the Britishers and was converted to Christianity. Through his lifetime he wanted to regain his identity, dignity, own land but all was in vain. At the age of 55 years in 1893, he took his last breath.
The first track from the movie ‘The Black Prince’- ‘Channa’ got released a few days ago and we saw the romantic alliance of Satinder Sartaaj aka Maharaja Duleep Singh and Bamba Muller.
