Commando 2 : The Black Money Trail Movie Review
Vidyut Jamwal is the new action Hero of Bollywood and it has been established. With each Commando edition he is striking a new chord with the audience and is carving a niche for himself. With the beautiful Adah Sharma adding the lustrous tadka to this show of action, Commando 2 moves makes a point at the box office. But of course, as we see in most of the action movies, there is too much to please the eyes in terms of action but the story line suffers as there has been more effort put in for the action sequences.
In Commando 2 , Captain Karanvir Singh is once again the savior of the poor and the destitute with the ready muscles to tackle all unjust practices and this time it is corruption. He has to shoulder the responsibility of capturing a money laundering ring of an Indian master in Malaysia. But there is more to the crime than just money laundering and Karanvir Singh discovers that he is on the verge of revealing many other culprits. Esha Gupta playing the vamp (once again after Rustom) is a surprise package. Adah Sharma picks up pace since her last outing. She essays the role of a sweet yet complicated lover beautifully.
Vidyut steals the show all the way with his muscular looks and the beaming muscles. He carries the entire film on his shoulders and shows lots of promise in this second edition of the movie. His acting has also matured since his beginning in force. The film has it’s own dim moments with the protagonist coming up with lofty dialogues and accusations at rare intervals. Logic of the story does suffer and we wish there was more attention paid to the basic story aspects rather than the fights and gun firing.
The climax could have been more sorted one with a gradual revelation of the facts. But unfortunately instead of raveling of the story, there is more entangling in the story line which hampers the gradual flow of the story.
Commando 2 Review Last Words :
Director Deven Bhojani has done a fine work in most of the departments of the film. His work is commendable as the portrayal of the story is vivid and cogent. Even on the technical side, the film does not disappoint at all. Even in music, it adds the right spice and tadka to the action drama and keeps the interest alive.
