Easily the most anticipated movie of 2017! Not many would have expected the first one which draws huge inspiration from Mahabharata and is drawn heavily from the Amar Chitra Kathas would drive such huge numbers and become a cult movie. The first look was released today to eager fans.
The first look has only the central character of the movie which also is the title Baahubali .Holding a huge chain in one hand and a sword in the other. The first look totally draws on the intensity and toughness that Prabhas brings to the screen. The intense look on Prabhas’ face is also an indicator that this one will be , not very tough to guess , an out and out intense actioner.
Director S.S. Rajamouli himself revealed the first look of the film in style.

In the background is the towering presence of the now dead father of the prince Mahendra Baahubali. Appears only as a line sketch! The entire blue background of the poster which also has thunder and lightening in the back ground only adds to what this movie could be all about – high voltage action and high canvas intensity. In fact some of the better executed scenes either had water or rain in the previous Baahubali . Remember the prince being identified because thundershowers wash away the dirt from his face helping Kattappa to identify him?
This one creates the aura and build up right back. The first look will create enough curiosity and eagerness in those who have liked the first part.
And yes the first look still did not answer the almost two year old raging question – just why exactly did Kattappa kill Baahubali!
