Taarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chashmah Is Now Surrounded By Controversy!

Famous Television show ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chashmah’ is now surrounded by a big controversy. At latest, Shiromani Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee wrote a letter to the managing director of the show to shut down the serial. ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chashmah’ was started in 2008 and till now it is going in a strong way. This is by far the most beautiful serial when it comes to comedy and entertainment. Millions of people watch this serial on a daily basis and feel a good connect with it. The core message of the serial is unity in diversity. All the religion people have been shown in the serial with an equal importance and they celebrate all functions together. In spite of being such a good show, it garnered negative attention lately from the Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee. The reason is related to the episode which was aired on September 14. In that episode, all the families have been shown in celebrating Ganesh Jayanti. In which one of the family member expressed his desire to beautify Ganesh Statue in Amritsar’s Golden temple. After that, a statue is also shown placed in Golden Temple. This is what hurt the sentiments of the Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee. Committee chief Jathedar Avtar Singh Makkar said in a letter that we do respect all the religion and also respect Lord Ganesha. But due to that particular scene, the Sikh religious sentiment gets hurt. Altogether, the reply has not yet come from the Makers side and we hope that the things get to sort out soon.
