Akshara to go BLIND in starplus Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai
We hear that the forthcoming track in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai will see a slight twist in the tale. Akshara (Hina Khan) played by Hina Khan loses her eyesight due to an accident — Akshara will fall into a lake from a height.

Hina Khan newly shot for the sequence and tells us that she was quite kicked about shooting it with a harness. Our source says, “Akshara will be shown to be on her way to a wedding when Tara’s (Umang Jain) brother who is in an inebriated state, stops the car and forces her to come out of it. They have a tiff, leading to Akshara having an accident and losing her vision.”
