As per the sources, the role of Maya Talwar (Rani Mukherjee) was offered to Kajol but she refused the movie due to her commitments with ‘Fanaa’, opposite to Aamir Khan. Either way, she gained huge popularity. Shakti - The Power: Shakti was released in 2002 and directed by Pasupuleti Vamsi. After Kajol’s refusal to the movie, the role was offered to Karisma Kapoor, with co-stars Nana Patekar, Sanjay Kapoor, and Shahrukh Khan in a supportive role. Karisma was highly appreciated for her acting displayed in the movie. Dil To Pagal Hai: Kajol also missed to act in the biggest musical hit of the year, Dil To Pagal Hai. We all know the famous stars that acted in the movie and contributed to its success. Kajol was supposed to act the role of Nisha, but she rejected due to no experience in dancing. Madhavan, Boman Irani, Omi Vaidya, Parikshit Sahni, and Sharman Joshi. Kareena’s role was first offered to Kajol, however it seems that Kajol wasn’t happy with the script.
