Bollywood aka mayanagri, where name and fame go hand-in-hand and acting is considered as one of the most glamorous professions. It is very well-known about the outrageous pay cheques that successful Bollywood actors get for doing a film. An actor can make millions from just a one film but interestingly there are many Bollywood actors who do a role in the film for FREE. Well, recently some of the big Bollywood celebs in industry have adopted a profit-sharing technique to earn revenues out of their movies. For that they have to work hard as their hard work is gonna pay them when the movie makes enough business. Here are some of the famous Bollywood actors who didn’t charged a penny for their role in movie and gave their best performance that made a film, a Blockbuster Hit! 1. Akshay Kumar – Airlift – Rs.0 Bollywood’s Khiladi, Akshay Kumar didn’t charge a single penny from the producers of the film Airlift. Akshay Kumar is one of those Bollywood actors who take direct share in the profit of the film. In the film Airlift, Akshay took a major share of the profits. Well, the film was absolutely worth to watch and you all know it was a super-duper hit of the year. Well, for Airlift Akshay won’t feel any regret for his move of doing a film without charging a single penny, isn’t? 2. Salman Khan – Prem Ratan Dhan Payo – Rs. 0 OH, Salman bhai really must have got a lot of Dhan from this movie. As we all know Salman Khan owes his career to Rajshri Productions. So, it was not a surprise that for his last venture with the production house, Salman completely waves his acting fees but instead opted to share profits. 3. Shahrukh Khan –Boothnath Returns – Rs.0 The Bollywood Badshaah did not charge anything for his extended role in the film Boothnath Returns. He was in the first part of the film and to play a very small role in the sequel, Shahrukh Khan gave his valuable time freely! 4. Amir Khan –PK Mr. Perfectionist of Bollywood aka Amir Khan is at the topmost peak where name, fame and money equally go hand-in-hand. Yes, there needs brains and talents to reach at this stage where Amir Khan is today. Well, Amir Khan did not charge at all for his role in the movie, PK. The star is too following a profit sharing module of the industry and we can say that he is really earning BIG! 5. Govinda – Partner –Rs. 0 The movie Partner was a comeback film of Govinda. The actor was desperate to comeback in Bollywood and he was in search of a good script, when partner came along he couldn’t refuse. Govinda did not charge any amount from the producers and therefore as a good gesture, he was given a signing amount of the sequel, if it would be made in near future. 6. Farhan Akhtar – Bhaag Milkha Bhaag – Rs.11 Another fantabulous Bollywood actor who took a very very small amount for the film Bhaag Milkha Bhaag is Farhan Akhtar. The actor put his heart and soul in this film. He played a biopic of Milkha Singh, a famous Indian Athlete. Farhan Akhtar only took 11 rupees pay for this film as token of love and blessings! 7. Amitabh Bachchan – Ganga, Gangotri – Rs.0 Every minute of Amitabh Bachchan’s time is absolutely precious and can be very expensive on the pockets of producers. But when the makeup of the veteran actor turned a director for Bhojpuri films, he offered Sir Bachchan a role in his movies and Bachchan Sir being humble as he is always did not charge a single penny from him for his films Ganga, Gangotri and Ganga Devi. How very generous of them, isn’t it?
