They couple tied their nuptial knots on November 22, 2009 at Bawa’s Villa in Khandala. This is yet another lavish marriage in the history of Bollywood. Shilpa Shetty’s engagement ring cost Rs. 3 crores. Apart from that, Shilpa’s bridal saree costs over 50 lakhs, which garnered as many as 8000 Swarovski crystals embellished in it. Shilpa’s wedding dress was designed by Tarun Tahiliani and Raj’s attire was designed from Shantanu and Nikhil. Even after that there was a big wedding reception organised for who’s who of Bollywood in Grand Hyatt Hotel in Mumbai.
