6 Bollywood Movies Of 2018 That FAILED To Live Up To The Expectations of Audience
Only two months are remaining before we’ll say goodbye to 2018. 2018 has been a great year for Bollywood with lots of movies doing phenomenal business at the box office. However, there are several movies which failed to live up to the expectations of audiences and proved to be major disappointments. Today, we are going to talk about these types of films.
1. Veere Di Wedding
Kareena Kapoor Khan and Sonam Kapoor Starrer Veere Di Wedding seemed like a parody movie rather than a buddy comedy. People thought that the movie will show the strong bond between 4 girls, but ended up blindly adopting west culture. People can’t relate to the four lead characters in the movie a bit.
2. Padmaavat
Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus made lots of headlines before the release of the movie. However, after the release, it fell flat. It might be due to the huge uproar or protest from the people, but SLB disappointed his fans big time with this movie. There was nothing in the movie except over the top drama and stretched storyline. Only plus point for the movie was the performance of Ranveer Singh.
3. Fanney Khan
The movie took inspiration from critically and commercially acclaimed Dutch film ‘Everybody’s Famous!’. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, and Raj Kumar Rao starrer Fanney Khan is the example of horrible adaption. The movie was so confusing that the audience was left clueless.
4. Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 3
After the success of Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster and Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 2, the makers brought the third film in the thriller series. Directed by acclaimed director Tigmanshu Dhulia, the movie tried to keep the audience entertained with loads of drama and vengeance but lacked the intensity. The slow pace of the movie didn’t help either.
5. Bhavesh Joshi
Bhavesh Joshi seems like a poor version of Deadpool that too worst one. The movie was promoted as a superhero film but has nothing that can entertain even a single audience. The audience can’t connect to the lead character of the film, it seemed too farfetched.
6. Kaashi
Sharman Joshi made his Bollywood comeback with Kaashi. However, the movie bombed at the box office horribly. The music and direction were the major disappointment of the film. The story is good, but the execution is very bad.
