2. The Title of the movie was purchased


The story behind the Fast and The Furious title is an interesting one. Af first, the movie was named as Redline, which refers to the maximum speed a car can go. Later, it was changed to The Fast & The Furious. Interestingly, the name was being owned by Roger Corman, who produced the movie in 1955 of the same name. The makers didn’t have to pay for purchasing the title, instead, Mr. Corman traded the movie title with some stock footage owned by Universal Studios.
