15 ROMANTIC MOVIES TO BE WATCHED ON VALENTINE'S DAY... Valentine's day is the most awaited day for the lovers. Valentine's day was unknown until around 1992. It came to be known after commercial TV channels like MTV followed by radio programs. Mostly the young youth celebrates Valentine's day. But there are still some protestants protesting against this days. These are mostly middle class Hindu families and some political parties. They think it's against the Indian tradition and this day will destroy the culture in their society. But no worries youngsters, all you can do is stay calm and watch some good movies with some popcorns and soft drinks! It's based on the Maratha warrior Bajirao and his muslim wife. The film stars Ranveer Singh as Bajirao, Priyanka Chopra as Kashibai, and Deepika Padukone as Mastani in lead. The supporting stars were Vaibbhav Tatwawdi, Tanvi Azmi and Milind Soman 2) Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania: Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania (HSKD) is a Hindi romantic-comedy movie. It characterised Varun Dhawan as Humpty Sharma and Alia Bhatt as Kavya Pratap. The supporting actors were Ashutosh Rana, Siddharth Shukla, Aditya Sharma, Deepika Amin, Mahnaz Damania, Gaurav Pandey, Sahil Vaid, Kenny Desai, Guncha Narula and Shivani Mahajan. 3) 2 States: It's a novel based movie written by renowned author Chetan Bhagat. It's another Hindi romantic-comedy drama film. It has received mixed reviews from critics but succeeded commercially and declared "Super Hit" by Box Office India. It featured Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. This movie is about the situation almost all couples are facing, the inter-caste marriage. It's fun to watch the north and south pole become one 4) Hasee Toh Phasee: Yet another romantic-comedy drama film, Hasee Toh Phasee featuring Parineeti Chopra, Siddharth Malhotra and Adah Sharma. This movie received the most positive reviews by critics! This movie is about a struggling businessman who thinks that if once committed, you cannot stray but somehow he falls for another girl. It's definitely an interesting movie. 5) Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela: Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela is a 2013 Indian romantic drama thriller film. This film starred Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone, and the supporting roles are played by an ensemble cast including Supriya Pathak Kapur, Richa Chadda, Sharad Kelkar, Gulshan Devaiah, Barkha Bisht Sengupta, and Abhimanyu Singh. This is a fictional gujarati story between Rajadi and Sanera who are famous for the manufacturing and sale of arms and ammunition. 6) Yeh Jawaani hai Deewani: It's a romantic movie of coming age starring Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor in lead roles. Kalki Koechlin and Aditya Roy Kapur play supporting roles followed by an item number by Madhuri Dixit. The story is about a boy who likes to travel. in this journey, he misses many things but somehow fulfill his dreams but sooner or later falls for a girl and decides to stay with her leaving the dream opportunity. 7) Aashiqui 2: It's a musical romantic film by Mohit Suri. the film starred Aditya Roy Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead roles. This film is based on the violent or unsteady relationship between the singer Rahul and Arohi which was affected by the Rahul's issue with alcohol and abusive behavior as well as temperament. 8)Jab We Met: Jab We Met is a 2007 Indian romantic comedy-drama film starring Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan. the story is about a Punjabi girl who was earlier in love with a boy named Anshumann. she took a step of leaving her parents for him but later the guy disown her. She meets Aditya in train and helped him to get out of his depression. Aditya falls for him. This creates a love triangle. This is definitely one of the most favored film by all. 9) Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi: This is an another comedy-romantic drama film by Yas Raj Films featuring Anushka Sharma and Shah Rukh Khan in the lead. The story is about mild-mannered office worker named Surinder Sahni (Shah Rukh Khan), whose love for the beautiful and vivacious Taani (Anushka Sharma) causes him to transform himself into the loud and fun-loving "Raj" to win her love. 10) Veer Zaara: Veer-Zaara is a 2004 Indian romantic drama film directed by Yash Chopra under the Yash Raj Films banner. The film stars Shah Rukh Khan and Preity Zinta in the leading roles with Rani Mukerji, Manoj Bajpayee, Kirron Kher, Divya Dutta and Anupam Kher in supporting roles. Amitabh Bachchan and Hema Malini make a special appearance in the film. Set against the backdrop of conflict between India and Pakistan, this star-crossed romance follows the unfortunate love story of an Indian Air Force pilot, Squadron Leader Veer Pratap Singh and a Pakistani woman from a rich political family of Lahore, Zaara Hayat Khan, who are separated for 22 years. Saamiya Siddiqui, a Pakistani lawyer, finds Veer in prison and upon listening to his story, tries to get him freed. 11) Love Aaj Kal: Love Aaj Kal is a 2009 Indian romantic comedy-drama film starring Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone in lead roles with Rahul Khanna, Rishi Kapoor and Giselli Monteiro in supporting roles. The film portrays the feeling of pure love which never changes, although the perspective of realising one's soulmate has changed over time. This is one of the most interesting, loving move. It is a move for the people who in real life get to know the meaning of love and fellings. 12) Namastey London: Namastey London is a 2007 Indian romantic drama film stars Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif. It also stars Rishi Kapoor, Upen Patel and Clive Standen in supporting roles. Riteish Deshmukh has a cameo role in the film. The concept of Indians being born in foreign nations and forgetting their Indian roots and instead trying to become like people of that natio 13) Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani: Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani is a romantic comedy film. The movie is the first collaboration between Khan and Kaif, and the second between Khan and Sharma. Jab Tak Hai Jaan tells the story of Akira Rai (Sharma), an ambitious, hardworking intern at the Discovery Channel. Akira finds the diary of Samar Anand (Khan), a bomb-disposal expert. The diary recounts Samar's time as a struggling immigrant to London, and later details his whirlwind romance with Meera Thapar (Kaif). 15) Rockstar: Rockstar is a Indian musical romantic drama film directed by Imtiaz Ali, starring Ranbir Kapoor and debutant Nargis Fakhri. The film also stars Shammi Kapoor, Moufid Aziz, Aditi Rao Hydari, Piyush Mishra, Shernaz Patel and Kumud Mishra in supporting roles. The story tells about Janardhan Jakhar a.k.a. JJ and Jordan(Ranbir Kapoor), who dreams of becoming a big rockstar. Yet, eventually on attaining all that he dreamt of, he realises that he was soulless and despondent without the presence of the already married Heer Kaul(Nargis Fakhri) in his life, with whom he shared a short-term, intimate relationship, back in his college days and during his time in Prague, where she was living a depressed life with her husband.
