This is a superb movie by Hrishikesh Mukherjee. It is remembered for Amol Palekar portrayal of a character who dupes his boss by faking the existence of his brother and mother and Utpal Dutt’s portrayal of a boss with traditional values. It also led to the making of the film ‘Bol Bachchan’ which was loosely based on it. This epic movie deserves to occupy your movie bank and should definitely top the list.
