The movie is set on the backdrop of Indo-Sino war of 1962. During the war, many Indian jawans lost their lives as compared to the Chinese army. As per reports, 1,383 jawans got killed, 1,047 were wounded, 1,696 went missing, and 3,968 were captured. On the other hand, Chinese army lost 722 soldiers and 1,697 were wounded.
