You hate them or love them but you just can’t ignore them. 1. MOGAMBO – MOGAMBO KHUSH HUA 2. GABBAR – KITNE AADMI THEY Gabbar Singh is a fictional character and the antagonist in the 1975 Hindi film Sholay written by Salim-Javed, also later featured in the spoof Ramgarh Ke Sholay. Played by Amjad Khan, he is shown in the movie Sholay as a dacoit who leads a group in looting and plundering the villages in the region of Ramgarh. He has a sadistic personality and insists on killing whenever required to continue his status and to take revenge on his enemies. The character of Gabbar is one of the most popular in Indian films. 3. SHAKAAL – SHAKAAL KE HAATH MEIN JITNE PATTE HOTE HAI UTNE HI USKE AASTEEN MEIN BHI HOTE HAI Shakaal, the bald villain played by Kulbhushan Kharbanda, was based on the James Bond villain, Blofeld. A large golden eagle is prominent in Shakaal's island lair and in the Bollywood obligatory final song-and-dance. The eagle is reminiscent of the golden lamb in Cecile DeMille's Ten Commandments; construction on the golden eagle required outside experts to be flown in and cost, in Rupees, the equivalent of the chariot scene in Ben-Hur. The man who inspired Dr. Evil from Austin Powers to be so deliciously evil is also on our list of kick ass Bollywood villains. With a head as bald as a baby’s bottom Shakaal would love feeding his crocodiles with unsuspecting good guys. We also think his fashion sense is the second best on this list after Loin. 4. LION – SAARA SEHER MUJHE LION KE NAAM SE JAANTA HAI Hamid Ali Khan (27 January 1922 – 22 October 1998), better known by his stage name Ajit, was a prolific Hindi film actor. He acted in over two hundred movies in almost four decades. Ajit is also credited for starring as a lead actor in popular Bollywood movies such as Nastik, Bada Bhai, Milan, Bara-Dari, and later as a second lead in Mughal-e-Azam and Naya Daur. Kalicharan movie starts with Din Dayal (Ajit) who is supposedly an honest rich man and a clean-hearted guy. However all this is a facade as he is a terror called LION in the world of crime. He is the man under whom black-marketing, smuggling and robberies flourish. No-one has an idea about his evil deeds. Not even his close friend IG P.N. Khanna (Prem Nath) His famous dialogues included the 'Mona darling' bit inYaadon Ki Baraat, 'Lily don't be silly' in Zanjeer and the ones about a 'Lion' in Kallicharan. Ajit's other well known films were Naya Daur, Nastik and Shikari to name only a few. In his four decades of film career, Ajit had acted along with the legendary Prithvi Raj Kapoor, Sohrab Modi, Amitabh Bachchan, I S Johar, Dilip Kumar, Dev Anand, Shami Kapoor, Dharmendra and many actress, both young and old. 5. TEJA – FIRAUTI KI RAKAM LAAYA HAI YA MAYAT KA CHANDA Teja (Paresh Rawal) is a criminal who has taken lots of money from Crime Master Gogo (Shakti Kapoor). Teja hopes to land the riches himself by kidnapping his brother and posing as Ram. He has also planted his cronies Robert (Viju Khote) and Bhalla (Shehzad Khan) in the household. 6. DR. DANG – IS GOONJ KI GOONJ AB TUMHE SUNAI DEGI Rana Vishwa Pratap Singh (Dilip Kumar) is an ex- high ranking police officer who is in charge of a jail that successfully reforms criminals. One day he is informed that the head of a major terrorist organisation "Dr Dang (Anupam Kher)" has been captured and will be secretly held in his prison due to its remote location On arrival at the prison Dang states he expects a cell akin to a hotel room. He also makes it clear that through bribes and favours he will be released very shortly. The following day Dang assaults a prison warden during an argument about the condition of his cell. On hearing this, Singh goes to Dang's cell and slaps him, which is highly insulting in Indian culture. Dang then vows to personally take revenge on Singh. 7. PREM – MERA NAAM HAI CHOPRA PREM CHOPRA Prem Chopra is known for terrifying fans with his villainous one liners. From his first film, Hum Hindustani in 1960 to his forthcoming film Dhoom: 3 in 2013, Prem Chopra refuses to get old. The vetern actor has acted in over 320 films in Bollywood. 8. RANJEET – ITNI MAZEDAAR CHEEZ KO BHAGWAAN KE LIYE KAISE CHHOD DU Gopal Bedi (popularly known by screen name Ranjeet (Punjabi: ਰਣਜੀਤ), and also known as Goli) is an actor in Indian films and television, born in Jandiala Guru near Amritsar (Punjab).He has played mostly character roles, with roles as the villain dominating his over 200 Hindi films. Ranjeet played a positive character throughout on TV series Aisa Des Hai Mera. He has also worked in a number of Punjabi films such as Rab ne banayian jodiyan and Man jeete jag jeet. 9. KESARIYA VILAYATI – BAD MAN!!! Gulshan Grover (born 21 September 1955) is an Indian actor who has appeared in over 400 films. He is among the first actors to have made a successful transition from Bollywood to Hollywood and international cinema. He is also known with the name "Bad Man" in Bollywood. 10.
