The Saifai Mahotsav Controversy
Alia Bhatt was criticised to be a part of the controversial Saifai Mahotsav. The event was held at a time when the need of the hour was to utilize money for the rehabilitation of riot victims. Alia had said in her defence that, “We are not sadistic who went to Saifai, and felt happy about those who were suffering! But I don’t want to stretch this topic too much because I feel, it is kind of over.I just think that it isn’t fair to call us inhuman.”
