Ranbir Kapoor’s Take Away From ‘SANJU’ And How It Changed Him As A Person

Ranbir Kapoor has brilliantly transformed into the character of Sanjay Dutt and from his walking style to body language to dialogue delivery to acting-everything is just superb. This week on 29th June the biopic is releasing on screens and everyone is eagerly waiting for this mega movie. Ranbir Kapoor has proved his mettle once again and though he has taken the biggest risk of his career, it can prove as a turning point of his career. We all know that Ranbir has given his best to this movie. It was not an easy task to play such an eponymous role and seeing the trailer we can say that the actor has nailed it.

There are many reasons to watch this biopic. Audiences will get to see totally a different side of Sanjay Dutt, a vulnerable side of him. This has been revealed by Ranbir himself during a print interview to filmymantra.com

When Ranbir was asked about his take away from ‘Sanju’ he said two things that he wanted to take from the movie-one the father-son relationship and his relation with his best friend played by Vicky Kaushal. He added, “The film is based on three things- the father-son relationship, friendship and the question mark. The question mark you will discover once you watch the film. These are the important parts in the movie.”

“Sanju has changed me subconsciously. It’s not that today I have finished the film and tomorrow I am a different person but subconsciously this film will stay with me and my respect and admiration for Sanjay Sir have changed. Having said that I don’t think you would see a propaganda film. We are not trying to show you a film of Sanjay Dutt where there is a PR exercise which is cleaning up his image. You will find a story of a faulty man, you might also hate him but you will see an honest portrayal of a person,” added Ranbir.
