Yami Gautam to soon attend the Court Proceeding! Here’s Why?

The elegant and beautiful actress of Bollywood, Yami Gautam is currently preparing for her upcoming movie ‘Uri’ based on the Uri attacks of 2006! The movie is to be presented by Aditya Dhar and team! Along with ‘Uri’, after a long delay in shoot, Yami has begun preparing for the movie Batti Gul Meter Chalu, which is a Shree Narayan Singh directorial.

The movie Batti Gul Meter Chalu is based on the electricity issues faced in the small towns and cities and the electricity billing discrepancies! There are alot many cases brought to the court by the unhappy consumers! Most of the cases are against the big corporate providing the electricity service! There is alot of research needed when it comes to becoming the prosecution in such cases!

Since Yami Gautam is going to play the role of a lawyer in this movie, she is hoping to catch a few court proceedings. She wishes to understand the grievances first hand, see how the prosecution addresses it and also study what certain verdicts have been.

While talking about the preparations she is doing for this movie, she said, “I am planning to attend one of the court sessions for sure before starting Batti Gul Meter Chalu. As of now since its summer holidays, my lawyer friend and team are figuring a vacation bench session that I can attend on the basis my schedule currently. I am looking forward to the real experience at a court.”

Yami Gautam is accompanied by Shahid Kapoor who too shall be seen as a lawyer in the movie whereas Shraddha Kapoor will be playing the leading lady in this Bhushan Kumar Production!

The movie is all set to release on 31st August, 2018!
