Shraddha Das, who will be seen on the bigger screen in her upcoming comic movie, Great Grand Masti, will be playing the character inspired by Gauri Khan. She is will acting opposite to Aftab Shivdasani.
The sources have revealed that Shraddha has played the role of a contemporary wife; her dress-style and lifestyle is equivalent to Mrs. Khan in the movie. Shraddha is asked to act like a normal wife, who is yet independent & modern by appearance and thoughts.
The cute babe stated to the media; “I play the role of a sophisticated, rich girl in the film who is married to Aftab’s character. The look and styling is inspired by Gauri Khan. In fact, I’m the only one in the film who has a modern and contemporary look and character. I enjoyed doing this fun commercial role.”
She also shared a few more words in the excitement of the movie, “Although I play the role of a naive, innocent wife in the film, my character is very chic, contemporary and sophisticated. I think it’s the most balanced character because neither does it slide towards being raunchy nor does it tilt towards being a complete sati-savitri clad in a saree doing pooja etc. Also, this film is similar to the first Masti with three wives playing important leads and a vamp coming in later. The costumes were inspired from Gauri Khan’s look from her earlier days.”
Although, Gauri is not seen on the bigger screen, her presentation style is something that people look up to in Bollywood. It is no wonder why King Khan always gets magnetized to return to his wife, despite an array of gorgeous divas eyeing on him.
