Over the years, she has been starred in many big budgeted movies but did you know that she was approached to play a female lead in Raja Hindustani which she eventually denied. During that time due to shoulder injury SRK backed out and Sanjay Dutt was roped in. In those time Sanjay was going through a rough phase in his career and Aishwarya didn’t find it right to be in the opposite side in the movie. 2. RAJA HINDUSTANI The film was first offered to Aishwayra by the director Dharmesh Darshan, but since she was has participated in the Miss World pageant so she wasn’t sure to be a part of this movie and eventually the role landed to Karishma Kapoor. 3. KUCH KUCH HOTA HAI Karan Johar first offered the lead role to Aishwayra but due to her busy schedule the role went to Rani Mukerji. 4. HEROINE Director Madhur Bhandarkar has started working on the movie with Aishwarya but due to pregnancy, she quitted the project. The was then backed by Kareena Kapoor. 5. DOSTANA The movie was originally were offered to Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai and Saif Ali Khan. Due to busy schedule Aishwarya couldn’t make it and later Saif Alia Khan was also dropped out.
