As per Bollywoodlife report, Trade expert Akshaye Rathi said, “It entirely depends on the merit of the film’s content. But going by what we have seen so far, it looks like a total winner. When you pay Rs 300 to go watch a movie, you don’t want to come out depressed. You want to come out feeling good and this film looks like one which will make you come out with a smile on your face. Look at all those big hits – Bajrangi Bhaijaan, P.K. or 3 Idiots, they take you though an emotional roller coaster ride – makes you smile, cry, laugh but eventually you come out with a smile and this film (Dear Zindagi) looks like one too. I don’t know if it can be a Rs 200 crore film, but it certainly has the potential to become Alia Bhatt”s biggest hit so far. If the promos are to go by and the director’s track record with English Vinglish is something to go by, then Dear Zindagi will be one of the most loved films of 2016.”
Directed by Gauri Shinde, the film also stars Angad Bedi, Ali Zafar, Kunal Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur in titular roles. The film is all set to hit the theaters on November 25.
