A BJP MLA has slammed the Indian skipper Virat Kohli for marrying Anushka Sharma in Italy. Now isn’t that preposterous?
In a bizarre incident while addressing a public rally in Pune, BJP MLA Pannalal criticised Virat Kohli for marrying Anushka Sharma in Italy. He has further called Kohli ‘unpatriotic’ and said that Kohli splurged money in a foreign land rather than spending it in India
.
He also said that great men have married in India but Virat Kohli chose Italy as the wedding destination. The crowd that had gathered there was seen applauding as the MLA was speaking.
Power couple Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli tied the knot on December 11 in a private ceremony which took place in Italy. The wedding took place at a country-side resort which is located in a small village named Bibbiano in the Tuscany region of Italy.
Virat and Anushka took to social media to share the news of their wedding with cute pictures from the wedding. They posted the pictures with the caption, “Today we have promised each other to be bound in love for ever. We are truly blessed to share the news with you.This beautiful day will be made more special with the love and support of our family of fans & well wishers. Thank you for being such an important part of our journey (sic).”
The newlyweds, who have bought a swanky Rs 34 Crore apartment in Worli, Mumbai, will travel to South Africa soon after the celebrations get over. Virat will start prepping for the upcoming series and Anushka will spend New Year’s Eve with him and return in the first week of January to begin the next schedule of Aanand L Rai’s film, Rangbaaz, with Shah Rukh Khan & Katrina Kaif in Mumbai. She will also start prepping for Sui Dhaaga as the shooting for the same starts in February 2018 with Varun Dhawan. Anushka will also be busy with the marketing and promotions of Pari which is releasing on February 9.
The couple will be in India to celebrate the reception in Delhi on December 21, and at Mumbai on December 26.
