Vijay Shankar And Shubman Gill To Replace Hardik Pandya And KL Rahul, This Is How Twitter Reacted
As f now, you are aware of the fact that Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul have been suspended by BCCI for their inappropriate comments on Koffee With Karan hosted by popular filmmaker Karan Johar. As soon as the episode went live, it created a huge outrage on social media forcing BCCI to take strict actions against both the cricketers.
Both of them were all set to feature in the playing XI of ongoing ODI Series against India when this controversy broke out. After receiving so much outrage, BCCI later confirmed the suspension and recalled Rahul and Hardik to India.
After the suspension of KL Rahul and Hardik Pandya, two fresh young cricketers have taken their places. BCCI has announced Vijay Shankar and 19-year-old wonder kid Shubnam Gill as replacements to the two suspended players in the ongoing ODI Series in Australia.
After winning U19 World Cup, Shubman Gill has been performing exceptionally well in the domestic matches. On the other hand, the all-rounder from Tamil Nadu Vijay Shankar has also impressed selectors with his amazing performances. It was only matter of time they got India call-up.
