Vidyut Jammwal is a popular actor from Bollywood who hails from Jammu and was born on 10th December 1980. His father had a transferable job hence he was brought up in different places completing his education from different schools and colleges. Since he was three years of age, he has been learning martial arts, while he completed his training in martial arts from an Ashram based in Palakkad in Kerala. He then learnt and mastered martial art training at different places and before joining the modeling and acting, he travelled not less than 20 countries to showcase his martial arts skills.. His love for films led him to Bombay wherein he did a crash course in films and started hunting for opportunities till he got a break in modeling.
Vidyut Jammwal did modeling for a while and soon got his debut role in the Nishikhant Kamat’s film called Force wherein he got selected after rejecting thousands of applicants for the role of Vishnu. He then got some movies from the south Indian films like Shakti and Oosaraveli both having NTR in them. His first Tamil movie was Billa II wherein he had a negative role in it which gave him critical acclaim. He even got a couple of awards including Best Actor in a Negative Role in SIIMA Awards. His second film in B Town includes Commando while it showcased some realistic combat based on action.
His other Bollywood movies include Bullet Raja, Anjaan, Tumhe Dillagi and Stanley Ka Dabba while his upcoming movies in B Town include Yaara, Commando 2 and Baadshaho. His other movies include Thuppakki. He also did two music albums including Tumhe Dillagi and Gal Ban Gayi. As far as awards are concerned, he got a couple of awards, which include Zee Cine Awards for Umeed Ka Naya Chehra, SIIMA Award for Best Actor in a Negative Role, the Stardust Awards – Breakthrough Performance Male, FICCI Frames – Best Debut Male and Filmfare Award for the Best Debut Male for Force. His upcoming movies include the sequel Commando 2 and Baadshaho, which are scheduled to release this year in 2017.
