The Kareena Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhasker and Shikha Talsania starrer ‘Veere Di Wedding’ hits the Box Office with a Bang! The movie made huge collection of Rs. 10.70 Crores on Day 1 and has proudly become the Third Highest Opener of the year 2018 after Baaghi 2 which had earned Rs 25.10 crore and Ranveer Singh’s Padmaavat which had minted Rs 19 crore.

Excited with the massive opening of their film at the ticket counters, Sonam and Swara expressed their happiness on Twitter. While Swara tweeted, “OMG!!!!! Yaaaayyyyyyyyeeeeeeee!! 10.70 CR on Day 01. Film trade analyst, Girish Johar had said the movie would collect 4.5 crore on the opening day, “We have seen how Bollywood fans are now receptive to female-centric films like Raazi, Queen or Padmaavat for that matter. As long as good content is involved, the film is bound to do good. From the looks of it, the film is a fun, rib-tickling comedy and it will cater to an audience just looking to have a good time at the theatres”
Well, ‘Veere Di Wedding’ being produced by Ekta Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor, it being Kareena Kapoor’s come back post Taimur, it being Sonam Kapoor’s first post her wedding, it being Swara Bhasker’s first post her transformation and it being Shikha Talsania’s bold attempt, all the efforts have simply paid off!
