Varun Dhawan promotes ‘Captain America: Civil War’ with star figurines
Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan got a break in the Hollywood film ‘Captain America: Civil War’! Not directly, but yes he is giving the voice of Chris Evans in the Hindi version of ‘Captain America: Civil War’. He is really excited for this dubbing role in ‘Captain America’ franchise and even started promotion for the movie in India.
He recently was a part of a promotional event for the dubbed movie in a city mall, where he had a fun moment with many of his fans. Varun not only posed with the ‘Captain America’ figurines but also had a great time with the little fans. He even clicked selfies with his fans.
Varun Dhawan is also busy with his upcoming film ‘Dishoom’, which will also star ‘Rocky Handsome’ fame John Abraham. Helmed by Varun’s elder brother Rohit Dhawan, the film has many heavy duty action sequences in the film. The film is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, which also stars Jacqueline Fernandez and Saqib Saleem in pivotal roles.
The original version of ‘Captain America: Civil War’ stars Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Don Cheadle, Jeremy Renner and Chadwick Boseman in lead roles. It is the sequel to 2011’s ‘Captain America: The First Avenger’ and 2014’s ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier’.
In the recent past, Hollywood films are already getting a good Box-Office collections and maybe that’s the reason why they want the film to be dubbed by Indian actors. Recently, another Hollywood release ‘The Jungle Book’ has already crossed the 100 crore mark at the Box-Office which was also dubbed by major Bollywood actors like Irrfan Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Nana Patekar, Shefali Shah and Om Puri have lent their voice for ‘The Jungle Book’. So the filmmakers must be really expecting a lot from the film which is all set to hit the theatres on May 6.
