Might this year was not good enough for Shahrukh Khan with respect to the films released in 2016. His movie âFANâ with Yashraj Films almost sank at the box office and was not able to enjoy a huge success with his second collaboration with Rohit Shetty that being Dilwale.
The fans of the actor were eagerly waiting for his next film âRaeesâ with Rahul Dholakia, but the release of the film was pushed to 2017âs Republic Day.
On his 50th birthday, he promised that he will work on more films and will release three of his films each year. The promise remained unfulfilled this year, however, in 2017 Shahrukh will be true to his word.
About three films of the actor are expected to release in 2017. His next film with Rahul Dholakia (Raees), Imitaz Ali (The Ring) and Aanand L Raiâs untitled romantic drama is all set to be in the theaters next year. In the film directed by Aanand L Rai, Shahrukh is all set to reprise the role of a dwarf and the release of the film will be at Diwali and Christmas.
Raees is all finished, but the actor needs to redo on a selective action scenes as he went into an injury and the resultant scenes were not good. In Imtiaz Aliâs The Ring, Shahrukh is essaying the role of Punjabi tourist guide and will sharing the screen space with Anushka Sharma who will play the role of a Gujarati girl.
Next year, the fans of the actor will have a triple treat waiting for them.
Also, Shahrukhâs Dear Zindagi starring Alia Bhatt which is directed by âEnglish Vinglishâ director Gauri Shinde is all set to release on November this year.
