Varun Dhawan has teamed up with his David Dhawan’s film “Judwaa”. He is all set to bring back another comic blockbuster of the 90s, Coolie No. 1. Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan will be seen together in Coolie No 1 remake.
Farhad Samji, will be writing for the remake, he says, “It is a boon for any writer to work with a dedicated actor like Varun. I narrated the dialogue draft to him recently and he immediately asked me for a copy, so he could rehearse his lines even though there is still time for the film to go on the floors. I am looking forward to teaming up with Sara for the second time.
Sara made her debut in the film Kedarnath which starred Sushant Singh Rajput in the lead role, and then appeared opposite Ranveer Singh in the movie Simmba.
Coolie No 1 also featuring Kader Khan, Shakti Kapoor and Sadashiv Amrapurkar in vital roles. The beginning of David Dhawan ‘No 1’ series is marked by the film, followed by films like Hero No 1, Biwi No 1 and Jodi No 1.
Varun Dhawal will be next seen in the upcoming film Kalank, with Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sonakshi Sinha, Madhuri Dixit and Sanjay Dutt. He is also shooting for Street Dancer 3D, with actor Shraddha Kapoor.
